There are a number of possible causes for temperature fluctuations in your space. One of the most common is lack of sufficient air flow to your system. This can happen when you have holes and cracks in your ducts, closed or blocked vents, or clogged air filters. It’s also possible that some components of your system may be outmoded, and simple changes may improve your air flow. Or, if your usage and space layout have changed without updating equipment and duct layout, it may be time for a system re-design.
Another common cause of temperature variance is lack of maintenance. Having your system periodically inspected and tuned up makes it run more efficiently and helps provide more consistent comfort.
